This game collection is intended to the young children to spend their time effectively and happily. During these rich technology days, gaming is becoming popular among adults and children.  In this game collection, I introduced some family games for young children, which could help them to learn from the games.

Gaming can be viewed by different angles, positive or negative. From positive point of view, gaming could educate and make them amused. Moreover, parents and teachers can join with the kids to make more familiar and to teach them by playing games.

Gaming can engage more easily with children according to 'Does Easy Do It? Children, Games and Learning' by Seymour Papert. In his articles, he says "The first of my two strategies is to recognize that talking about games and learning is an important activity and to give it whatever boost I can. I encourage parents to engage in conversation with their kids about learning and I work at encouraging them to do this in a spirit of respect for kids who have as much to teach as to learn in this area. I try to develop and disseminate vocabulary and concepts for doing so." Moreover, he replied a question such as 'I'd like to know exactly which games Papert thinks teach players how to learn, and what specific learning skills he thinks they are developing by playing these games.' in such a way that "The most important learning skills that I see children getting from games are those that support the empowering sense of taking charge of their own learning (Papert)."

Digital game based learning is effectiveness for every age, according to Richard Van Eck's Digital Game-Based Learning. In his articles, "Several reviews of the literature on gaming over the last forty years, including some studies that use rigorous statistical procedures to analyze findings from multiple studies, have consistently found that games promote learning and/or reduce instructional time across multiple disciplines and ages." In an addition, he says "Games are effective not because of what they are, but because of what they embody and what learners are doing as they play a game (Van Eck)."

Let's see and explore which games are good for learning to yound children from my game collection.
